This French couture 1960s wool mod dress is cut in an era defining A-line silhouette, with short sleeves, a nipped in waist and slightly fuller skirt. It has a rounded neckline and a rear original zip closure, complete with hook and eye fastening. The inside of the dress is lined with a soft, toffee brown silk, making it incredibly comfortable to wear. The exterior is made from a thick wool boucle fabric, with mottled shades of moss green, soft brown, taupe and turquoise. Two central seams running down the left and right hand sides help to create definition in the waist, and the perfect retro 60s look.

Although unlabelled this has been beautifully made and mostly sewn by hand by someone trained in haute couture techniques. In excellent vintage condition with no faults or marks to note. It would fit up to a 14 UK, or 10 US and is generous in the hip.
